IRB REQUIREMENTS

All MRI research involving human subjects must be approved by the Brown IRB.  Additionally, Brown researchers based at affiliated institutions must have approval from the IRB at their home institution.  The Brown University Human Research Protection Office (HRPO) has detailed information on their website regarding requirements and procedures for MRI protocols.  HRPO MRI web page.
